The Sermons And His Words

Post Pic

In Jesus Christ, the man of Nazareth, our crucified and risen Lord, he has come to us and shared our common lot, conquering sin and death and reconciling the world to himself. He bestows upon us his Holy Spirit, creating and renewing the church of Jesus Christ, binding in covenant faithful people of all ages, tongues, and races.

He calls us into his church to accept the cost and joy of discipleship, to be his servants in the service of men, to proclaim the gospel to all the world and resist the powers of evil, to share in Christ’s baptism and eat at his table, to join him in his passion and victory. He promises to all who trust him forgiveness of sins and fullness of grace, courage in the struggle for justice and peace, his presence in trial and rejoicing, and eternal life in his kingdom which has no end. Blessing and honor, glory and power be unto him.

"The Supremacy of Christ" - June 5, 2022

Jesus is greater than the angels. They worshiped him at his birth and stood guard at his Tomb. Jesus is the only Son of God.; and with him at the center of our life we have balance. The reason our country is off center is because we have replaced Jesus with other gods. To be a Godly nation we must have Jesus at the center, and pray everyday asking Jesus to be that center of our lives.

"Don't Be Shy" - May 22, 2022

As we approach God in prayer, we enter into his kitchen. There we sit at his table and there is no menu because God already knows what we need. It is a place where we commune with Him. Give us this day our daily bread because it is about getting what we need. So do not be shy; ask and you will receive. .

"Approach the Throne" - May 15, 2022

Some are afraid to approach the Throne of God in prayer. Some may see Him as scary like the Wizard from the Wizard of Oz. We see this same fear in the story of Esther where no one can enter the Throne room of the King unless invited. God extends the scepter and invites us to come and make our petitions known, then there is intercessory prayer. Did you know that many of the miracles Jesus did was because someone interceded? The raising of Lazarus happened because a messenger told Jesus that Lazarus was sick. Others would be the rescue of Peter from jail, the centurion's servant, the boy with a demon, and others. Intercessory prayer can make miracles happen.

"Thank You For Godly Moms" - May 8, 2022

Godly Moms want their children in the Kingdom, they want their children to come to Christ. They want their children to be actively participating in the Kingdom, and they want their children to do great things in the kingdom. Mrs. Zebedee wanted her sons to sit at the right and left of Jesus, a place of honor. Hannah dedicated her son Samuel to work in the Temple all the days of his life. Samuel, James and John accomplished great things for the Kingdom.
